My aspirations <3

I want to surround myself with other hairstylists who are better than me and supportive mentors.

I want to cut hair like @JacobhKhan, colour hair like @BornToBalayage, and perform men's cuts and hot shaves like @itsthebarbercat

I want to learn everyday about, the biology and chemistry of hair, the scalp, cleansing, styling and chemical products.

I want to put the health of my client's hair and scalp first

I want to be amazing at what I do, because I love doing it!

A Bit About Me

I'm a fun, loving and caring mom of three wonderful children, two dogs and one guinea pig.

I love the summer, minus the mosquitoes. My husband and I love to take our family for picnics on the lake, camping and hiking; I enjoy sitting next to a warm campfire on a cool night reading fantasy novels.

When I'm not exploring with my family, I love learning. I enjoy taking extra classes when I can and watching videos on BTC University. Through which I can observe new techniques and bring them into the salon. Such as different forms of texture cutting, highlight placement, bridal up-do's and more.

MC College Edmonton

I spent this time learning the theory and history behind hairstyling and barbering, as well as working in their salon. During which time, I was able to actively develop sculpting, texturizing, colour and scalp treatment skills.

YMCA Children's Centre - Volunteer Event

During this volunteer experience, I was able to hands on experience styling the hair of young children. It was so amazing getting to work with these kiddo's and make them feel beautiful.

Iris Court - Volunteer Event

During this event, our group gave haircuts to the residents of Iris Court. I performed a taper for the resident I seen.

MC College Edmonton - Student of the Week

While working in the salon I was recognized for being willing and eager to help students and staff alike.

Centrix Hair & Spa

I started my apprenticeship with this salon. I had the opportunity to practice blending men's cuts and chemical services such as colouring and perming.
